DoorSec Security Solutions holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of door supervision services.
The ACS Standard encompasses all aspects of a security provider’s operation. It takes a holistic view of how well an organisation is managed and on approved organisation must demonstrate to an independent assessor, on an annual basis, that is has met defined standards.
Ian has vast experience – in excess of 20 years – in the Liverpool Night-time economy. Ian has progressed from being a Door Supervisor through to becoming Managing Director of Doorsec Security Solutions in April 2007. In 2014, Ian successfully attained his SIA Close Protection Licence to expand and enhance his knowledge in this ever changing industry.
Ian has – since 2007 – developed a number of important business associations including Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, St Helens Chamber of Commerce, Liverpool Pubwatch, Merseyside and Cheshire Police and The SIA to name a few, as well as forming excellent working relationships with all of our clients both independently owned and brewery / company run venues including Baabar Group, Stonegate Pub Company, Mitchells & Butlers, Signature Living, and The Ability Group. Ian is the key point of contact for all contracts in Liverpool and holds regular meetings with clients to discuss the security provision provided and to offer expert advice on all issues of security.
Ian is fully committed to consolidating the company’s business and seeing the company grow in the future. With a very customer focused outlook, Ian is committed to ensuring that the company’s mission statement is applied to all current and potential clients.
Keith has over 30 years experience and has been involved in Door Supervision since 1985 in the North West.
During this time, Keith has attained a B.A. (Hons) Degree in Law and Criminal Justice, is a fully qualified SIA Trainer and NFPS Certified Physical Intervention Trainer, holds teaching qualifications in Conflict Management and PTLLS and is a Certified CCAS / IRCA Auditor. Also holding certification in BS7858 Screening & Vetting, Risk Assessment, Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Fire Marshalling and BIIAB Personal Licence, Keith is also the company In-House Trainer.
Keith has been with the company since January 2008 and has successfully managed the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme, achieving approval each year, progressively improving the score year on year.
Keith is fully committed to taking the company to new levels and works closely with Ian to develop new ideas to improve the company structure and policy development and KPI achievements.
Steve has been in the Door Supervision Industry for in excess of 40 years and has worked throughout the North West. Steve was a Proprietor in a security company for many years and held numerous prestigious contracts including Mr Smith’s (Warrington), Luminar Leisure, Mitchells and Butlers and Amber Taverns.
In January 2008, Steve decided to merge with Doorsec Security Solutions to form one of the largest Door Supervision providers in the North West. Steve took up the role of Area Manager, a role he continues to fill to date.
Steve will often be the first point of contact potential clients meet and he continues to manage a number of bars in his role.
Steve is Head of Recruitment and fully committed to company growth and is amenable to developing business leads which pilots the way to growth of business and employment with the company
